2012

 DECEMBER 2012

Our lovely Logan is Top GSP 2012! (joint)

What an amazing finale to an unbelieveable year with our 'birthday boy' who was just 2 on Christmas Eve and after being Top Puppy in 2011, he goes one further. We are so proud of him and his achievements, especially considering he couldn't even enter 5 shows (due to the docking ban), Blackpool was cancelled and although entered, we didn't get to Richmond! We'd like to say a massive thank you to all the judges and to everyone who has admired him and also to all our friends and other exhibitors. Good luck to everyone in 2013.

Our special thanks and congratulations to Sue and Martin Harris for breeding yet another quality dog with a fabulous personality.

Logan hasn't let any of it go to his head though and is still just our loveable, funny and endearing boy with a kindly disposition. His 'roll of honour' in 2012  includes:

4 CC's with 4 Best of Breed, including Best in Show at the GSPC Ch Show

8 Reserve CC's

Show Certificate of Merit

Junior Warrant

Winner of Petplan Junior Stakes at Bath/Overall winner of Yearling Stakes at Driffield

A quiet month on the show scene but Logan continues to go to some shot over days, (even when it's not raining!), where he is progressing competantly.

Greta, below, has had her hips scored and they came back with a very pleasing result of 4:3, total 7 .

NOVEMBER

LIVERPOOL KENNEL ASSOCIATION OPEN SHOW - We decided to enter a few open shows to give Greta some practise and to possibly get the final few points needed for Logan's Show Certificate of Merit. At today's show, Greta behaved impeccably and won Junior and Logan got his ShCM in style as he went Best in Show! The breed judge was Mr Russell Mosedale who also gave him the group and the BIS judge was Mr Clive Lunt.

The picture above is taken courtesy of Mr Paul Lownsbrough (Sonhador Boston Terriers)

OCTOBER

GSPC OPEN SHOW - Allan was judging the Stakes classes at this friendly, informal show which was held at Eggborough Village Hall, near Selby, Yorks, a venue we both remember from many years ago! For obvious reasons we couldn't show our own dogs but Allan had a lovely entry and enjoyed going over some real quality dogs.

Logan goes on another 'shot over day' where yet again the sun shone and he had a most productive outing.

SOUTH WALES CH SHOW - We were 'up with the larks' and were greeted with the first autumn frost and fog! Our judge today at a very cold Builth Wells was Mrs Jacqui Ward and our young Logan was in his first Open class today, so he was up with the 'big boys'. He was awarded 2nd and it culminated in his 8th Reserve CC. He was also in the Yearling Stakes class and got a 3rd and £10 to boot. Every little counts!

On the first day of the pheasant shooting season, Logan goes on his first 'shot over' day at Presteigne, which is on the mid Wales/Shropshire border. Amazingly, it only rained a little at the start of the day and we were then treated to a great day in beautiful countryside with plentiful birds, an accommodating keeper and excellent ground for our HPR's. Our young Logan hunted and pointed well and competantly carried out his first retrieve on warm game and can't wait for his next outing! Pictured below is Logan in the beet retrieving his first pheasant of the season.

SEPTEMBER

DRIFFIELD CH SHOW - Back to the normal weather of rain, rain and more rain! Our judge today was Mrs Barbara Rigby and today Greta did better than Logan in the breed classes, and she even managed to keep all 4 feet on the ground today! She was 2nd in Junior to the Res CC winner and Logan scraped in with a VHC in Limit. Lily wasn't entered today. However, Logan then went under Dr Ron James in the Special Yearling Dog stakes and won the class and best special yearling overall, despite Catherine falling over in the ring!! We were in the money again as it was £75 for 1st place. We've heard that the drinks are on us at the next show! .........

DARLINGTON CH SHOW - What a fabulous day we had at Darlington under breed specialist Doreen Smillie (Oakberrow). Logan gets his 4th CC and B.O.B. and is then shortlisted in a strong gundog group under Mr Frank Kane.

However, it was Greta's (Barleyarch Tracker at Drysika) debut today and boy did she make sure she was noticed! We were thrilled as she won Junior but then decided in the challenge that she would do impressions of a kangaroo! At least she has lots of "joie de vivre", we just need to contain some of it!  Below is Greta with all 4 feet on the floor!

Unfortunately we couldn't make it to Richmond but all being well, we'll be at Darlington! We'd just like to thank everyone for their cards and e mails to congratulate Logan on getting his title. Thanks folks!

CITY OF BIRMINGHAM CH SHOW - As well as the show being on the 2nd of September this year, the date is synonymous with 3 people in our GSP fraternity being a year older so we had a little celebration! Val Grant, Gill Roden and myself have survived another year and are in our 70's, 60's and 50's's!! Enough said! We were also celebrating Di Arrowsmith making her bitch up which was lovely as Catherine gave Fizzer her 1st CC.

Our breed judge today was Mr Mick Howes (Medogold Pointers) and Logan and Lily were awarded a respectable 3rd in their classes.

AUGUST

Logan and Greta go for heart testing and both get a clear result, which we are delighted about.

SCOTTISH KENNEL CLUB  A day to remember as Logan gets his title, yippee!  He was awarded his 3rd CC and 3rd BOB from Mrs Freda Marshall (Gainspa Golden Retrievers). At only 20 months old, our endearing boy becomes the breeds latest Show Champion (subject to KC confirmation). Special thanks to Sue and Martin for breeding our delightful 'show off'! He beat his half sister to BOB today as well!

Many thanks to everyone at the show for their 'Congrats' and for all the e mails we've already received! Even the drive home in the torrential rain didn't dampen our spirits! Unfortunately Allan wasn't there to see Logan getting his crown as he was dog sitting at home, hence no photos from today.  Lily was awarded 2nd in Limit.

No rest for the wicked though as the following day Allan was off at 6a.m to a training day in mid Wales with Logan and a few other 'mad' GSP enthusiasts!

Below: Logan on point.

WELSH KENNEL CLUB  - A lovely drive through the glorious countryside to WKC where Logan is awarded 3rd in Limit from Mrs Eileen Hughes (Sonnenberg). We hadn't entered Lily today.

We've been taking advantage of some of the unusual dry and warm weather recently and have been doing some retrieves across water with Logan. He's also making encouraging progress with his HPR training and will hopefully be able to partake in some 'shot over' days this season.

We get a very pleasing result back from Logan's hip x rays - 4:6

NATIONAL GUNDOG CH SHOW - Another ideal dog showing day for the most part until the heavens opened mid afternoon! However, it was a great day as Logan secured another Reserve CC, his 7th. He was in his first Limit class, and was 'pipped at the post' for the CC by his Dad, Sh Ch/Am Ch VJK-Myst Sterling of Barleyarch. The judge was Mr Geoff Hargreaves of Ghyllbeck Large Munsterlanders.

No shows for us now for a couple of weeks as Catherine is going to 'foreign climes', unfortunately not to Barbados, but 'over the water' to the Isle of Man, training clients with their new Guide Dogs!

JULY

LEEDS CH SHOW - It was almost perfect weather conditions for showing dogs, although the rain did make a token appearance for a shower mid morning!  Leeds is another show where docked dogs can't be shown, although ludicrously you could get a pass to go in with a 'spectator' dog, so Logan could have walked round the show ground but not been shown!

However, Lily was shown today and we were thrilled when she won Open Bitch, amongst some quality title holders. The judge was Mr Larry Wilks of Arany GLP's,  (who had wanted it to be known that this was his last judging appointment of GSP's). He gave Lily the Res CC last time he judged and as usual, she showed her heart out today and moved like a dream but it wasn't to be......................

Logan goes for his hip x rays so watch this space!

JUNE

What  a disappointing day for Blackpool Championship show committe and exhibitors as the show was cancelled due to a months rainfall coming down in 1 day!  Whilst the North West of England isn't renowned for it's climate, the amount of the wet stuff that came down was ridiculous, quickly turning the showground into a mudbath! Never mind, there's always next year!

We won't be going to many champ shows for a while now, as Logan can't be shown due to the farcical docking ban, although Lily will be attending a couple and we're hoping to do some open shows too.

Greta (Barleyarch Tracker at Drysika), is muscling up nicely now, she certainly looks different than when we acquired her a few months ago, so hopefully she'll be making an appearance in the ring before too long. Her retrieving is also progressing well and below are a couple of recent pics of her:

BORDER UNION CHAMP SHOW - A long drive today up through the beautiful countryside to Kelso, not that we saw much of it through the pouring rain! Judging started outside as it decided to stop raining for a few hours but by the bitch classes it had returned with a vengeance and the rest of the judging was in the marquee. In the middle of the ring today was Mr Colin Woodward (English Springers), awarding CC's for the first time. Logan won his Junior Class and Lily was a creditable 2nd in Limit.

Below: Dressed for the weather! /Judging in the rain

GSPC CHAMPIONSHIP SHOW - The 50th anniversary of the prestigious GSPC Champ show was held at Holme-on-Spalding Moor, Yorks and what an amazing and memorable day it turned out to be! It was a well run, informal day and even the weather was accommodating! Firstly, Logan won Junior dog and Lily won Mid Limit bitch which was a lovely start. The dogs and bitches were judged simultaneously by breed specialist judges, Mrs Julie Squire (Taftazini) doing the dogs and Mrs Pat Ideson (Heathermark) doing the bitches

Logan then went on to get his 2nd CC amongst some fabulous competition but it didn't stop there. Our happy, outgoing boy went one step further and on the decision of both judges was awarded Best in Show!  Wow, we are still on cloud 9 and expect to remain there for some time! Thanks to everyone for all the congrats etc.

Below: Logan checking that everyone was looking at him after going B.I.S.! Lily is also showing off her paces.

THREE COUNTIES CH SHOW - At yet another miserable, wet day in Malvern, (I thought it didn't rain 'down south'!), Logan notched up his 6th RESERVE CC. The breed judge was Mr Mike Ryan (Rypoint). It was a lovely day for Ann Kingston with her now Sh Ch Jennaline Pete's Uptown as he was awarded his 3rd CC. Lily wasn't entered today.

SOUTHERN COUNTIES CH SHOW - A near perfect day in the weather department for showing dogs, cloudy but warm and under breed specialist Mrs Val Mann,(Valger) Logan was awarded his 5th Reserve CC. Lily also did us proud as she was 3rd in a strong Limit class.

MAY

BATH CH SHOW - On the first 'summers day' for a show this year, with not a drop of rain in sight, we went to the well laid out showground at Bath and had a financially beneficial day! Logan won his class under breed specialist Mr Gordon Haran but the bonus was in him winning the Petplan Junior Stakes, and getting £100.  Well done Logan, that just about paid for the diesel for the journey! The stakes judge was Mrs Jill Peak.

SKC CH SHOW - On yet another wet, windy and very cold day we were 'up with the birds' for the trek to Edinburgh. The trek was well worth it, as at only 17 months old, Logan was awarded his 1st CC and also B.O.B. The breed judge was all rounder Mr Colin Mackay and Logan didn't disappoint in the group under Mr Keith Young, as he was shortlisted amongst some top winning exhibits. We are very proud of him.

Below: Logan in the group and wrapped up warmly on the bench!

NATIONAL CH SHOW - An interesting and speculative show today as all the German breeds were judged by a German judge. Our judge was Herr Gerd Schad and  Logan was awarded a 2nd in Junior. We were pleased with that as today it was great to be in the cards as it was one of those days that anything could happen!

APRIL

W.E.L.K.S Ch Show - On what must have been the wettest, windiest and coldest W.E.L.K.S show we've ever been to, Logan clocks up his 4th RESERVE CC, awarded again from Junior. The judge was breed specialist Mrs Maureen Nixon (Quintana) who by the end of the day was so cold, she said she could barely write on the award certficates!

GSPA CH SHOW - On yet another damp Bank Holiday Monday, we went to the GSPA Ruby Anniversary Ch Show at a great new venue, the Kennel Club Building at Stoneleigh, Warwicks. What a lovely day we had too, from a top quality entry, Logan was awarded the RESERVE CC from Junior! The judge was Dr Ron James and he kept the awards in the family as Logan's Dad got the Dog CC. Logan also won the David Layton Memorial Stakes Junior class.  Below: Lily doing her stuff!

Accrington & District Canine Society - On a damp and dreary Bank Holiday in the North West (nothing new there!), Logan has a great day and goes B.O.B. under Mr Mark Slimak and then Group 2 under Mrs Lynda Adams.

Greta has truly got her feet under our table now and it's like we've had her for years! She's pictured below:

MARCH

March 15th -  Kenco is 6 today! Happy Birthday to our lovely 'gentle giant' who's been promised some partridge counting for his birthday present!

We had a most enjoyable day at Crufts catching up with people and cheering on our good friend Jo Izard with Ellie (Jennaline Ello Jibble) who won overall in the BASC Gamekeepers classes which was awarded in the main ring. Lily was shortlisted in a large Limit class and noticeably there were no entries in the Junior dog class, and only 2 in puppy, a situation which will only become more prevalent in the future!

Good luck to everyone who's going to Crufts, we'll be there with Lily, and commiserations to those of us with docked dogs who are barred from going!

Below:Greta continues to settle really well, Logan is besotted with her and although it doesn't look comfy, Lily is even allowing her to share a bed, albeit very occasionally!

FEBRUARY

Barrow & District Canine Society -  Logan gets the final point for his Junior Warrant today. He won Junior then went BOB under Mr Tom Mather (Barklots) and then Group 2 under the same judge.

We have recently been fortunate to have a new addition at 'Drysika'. Meet 7 month old Barleyarch Tracker (now known as 'Greta'). Greta was the outcome of a family 'break up' and she has a sweet, affable, yet exuberant temperament and has settled in amazingly well with our brood.  Logan thinks he's in heaven with another young reprobate to play with, whilst Queen Lily "is not amused"! Kenco is his usual tolerant self and our O.A.P. Anya does the most sensible thing and generally keeps out of the way!

Below left: Anya, Greta, Logan, Kenco and Lily.

Greta's breeding is the quality pairing of Sh Ch Barleyarch Paxo and Sh Ch Barleyarch Persia and after some 'body building' she may make an appearance in the ring in the future and hopefully she will be a competant worker too, time will tell.......

Merseyside Gundog Club open show - Lily won Open but was again beaten by her best buddy Logan for B.O.B. It was a repeat of the previous week in the group as Logan was awarded Group 4. The breed judge was Janice Finnigan (Jamafi GSP's) and the group judge was a Mrs B. Harding.

JANUARY 2012

Stoke on Trent Gundog Club open show - Logan goes B.O.B and Group 4. The breed judge was Mr David Bell (Balintyne Irish Setters) and the group judge was Mrs Liz Rose-Hey (Cataluna) We'd forgotten to enter Lily so after her early morning run she spent the day snoozing in front of the fire!

MANCHESTER CH SHOW - Logan and Lily have a lovely day at the show, Logan wins Junior and Lily is awarded a 2nd in Limit. The judge was Mr Ben Ashcroft who was awarding CC's for the first time. The 'icing on the cake' (pardon the pun!) was in Logan being awarded his own cake by Sue and Martin Harris for being Top Puppy 2011! And very tasty it was too!

BOSTON CHAMPIONSHIP SHOW -  The first championship show of the year and Logan has a lovely class win in Junior and then goes on to take the Reserve CC! The breed judge was Mr Ian Halbert (Marimay). Lily was 3rd in Limit.  It was a great indoor venue with a lovely entry of new puppies out too. Our good friend Jo Izard was out with Logan's partner in crime "Inca", (Goosepoint Chincapin) and we were delighted when she was Best Puppy in Breed then went on to Puppy group 3 at her first championship show.

DECEMBER 2011

GOYT VALLEY GUNDOG SOCIETY OPEN SHOW -  December 31st.  Logan sees 2011 out with a bang! He was in his first Junior class and went B.O.B, followed by Best in Show! The breed judge was Mrs Hazel Moulding (Billsborough Pointers) and the BIS judge was Mr Geoff Hargreaves (Ghyllbeck). It was a lovely day for our breed as his half brother (Winterwell Jelly Belly at Nyliram) by Sh Ch/Am Ch VJK-Myst Sterling of Barleyarch, was Puppy Group 4.

Below: Logan chilling out at the show.

Logan is TOP GSP PUPPY 2011!

His results for 2011 are:

10 Best puppy in Breed awards

Joint Top Gundog Puppy (All gundogs)

Reserve CC

Best Puppy in Show - Gundogs of Scotland Ch Show

Gundog Puppy group winner at Darlington Ch Show

Gundog puppy group 4 - Gundogs of Wales Ch Show

Best Puppy in Show at GSPA Open show

Best in Show Goyt Valley Gundog show

2 B.P.I.S awards at open shows.

2 R.B.P.I.S. awards at open shows.

Many thanks to all the judges who have made 2011 such a memorable year and to everyone for all their support for both Lily and Logan.

Allan (currently know as' the one armed bandit!) has now had his first shoulder operation so unfortunately the dogs won't be doing any work for the rest of the season. Never mind, time to do lots of decorating although Allan won't be partaking in it!

DARWEN CANINE SOCIETY CENTENARY OPEN SHOW - Logan goes to his last show in a puppy class and what a note to finish on. He went BPIB and beat Lily (who won Open) for B.O.B. He then went on to get Adult group 3 and then won the Gundog puppy group! The breed judge was David Alcorn (Rutilus) and the group judge was Mr Alan Norcross.

NOVEMBER

GUNDOGS OF SCOTLAND CH SHOW - Wow, what a day to remember! Logan goes into double figures and is awarded his 10th BPIB under Mrs Eileen Gates who was awarding CC's for the first time. This is his last puppy class at a Champ show as he can't enter LKA due to the barring of docked dogs at this show, so we were elated to finish on such a high note. His half sister is again awarded BOB and his Dad the Res CC.  However, the 'piece de resistance' was that Logan then went BEST PUPPY IN SHOW under Mr Peter Taylor. It was well worth the 4.a.m. start, coupled with the sacrifice of missing 'Strictly Come Dancing'!!

Pictured below with judge Mr Peter Taylor (left) and Mr Gordon Haran, Secretary of G.B.A.S.

OCTOBER

YORKSHIRE GUNDOG CLUB OPEN SHOW - Logan picks up his 3rd B.P.I.S, what a little gem he is! He beat Lily and others for B.O.B. and was shortlisted in the adult group too. The breed judge was Mr Jeff Horswell (Drakesleat), and the group judge was Mrs Jill Court.

MIDLAND COUNTIES CH SHOW -  Logan clocks up his 9th BPIB under breed specialist Lesley Trow (Winterwell). His half sister Sh Ch Barleyarch Polkadot JW is awarded BOB and his Dad added to the awards with the Res CC.

At the end of our lovely day Allan found out that he has to have surgery on both his shoulders starting in November, so unfortunately our dogs won't be doing much work this shooting season, never mind, there's always next year!

GUNDOG SOCIETY OF WALES CH SHOW -Yet another amazing day! Logan chalks up his 8th BPIB and tops it off with puppy group 4. The breed judge was breed specialist Denise Gatcliffe (Allezwick) and the group judge was Jenny Miller (Feorlig). Lily is consistent and gets another 2nd in a strong Open class, brimming with Show Champions!

GSPC OPEN SHOW - Logan continues to delight us and is awarded BPIS by gundog specialist Mr Tom Graham (Nyliram). His other half sister, Sh Ch Barleyarch Polkadot JW is awarded BIS.

Logan's success continues, along with the hot weather!  At North of the England HPR group open show he is awarded BPIS, the breed judge was Dawn Elrington (Tequesta) and the group judge was Mr Jeff Roberts (Mirkwood). At the end of the day, he went for a cooling dip!

SEPTEMBER

DRIFFIELD CH SHOW The start of a very memorable few days! In unseasonably hot weather for October, Logan is awarded the Reserve CC at just 9 months old and his 7th BPIB from breed specialist Sue Pitman (Pitwit) who was awarding tickets for the first time. His half sister by Sterling (who is also a puppy!) got the Reserve CC so a great day for the 'Yank'!

STOKE ON TRENT GUNDOG CLUB OPEN SHOW - Logan enters his 3rd open show and gets his 3rd RBPIS! The breed judge was Mark Pooley (Marvach) and the group judge was Mrs Mary Small (Tilmoray).

Below: BPIS, RBPIS, puppy group 3

DARLINGTON CH SHOW - What an amazing day we had with Logan, he was awarded his 6th BPIB under Mrs Eileen Winser (Questor) and then went on to win the Gundog Puppy Group under Mrs Brenda Banbury. In the torrential rain, we sailed home on cloud 9!

RICHMOND CH SHOW- We had a lovely weekend with GSP friends near Canterbury and went to Richmond whilst we were there. The dogs had a great time and took the opportunity to do some quartering on the stubble fields. Logan found his 'partner in crime' in 4.5 month old GSP 'Inca' (Sh Ch Barleyarch Paxo ex Ch Stairfoot Sandgoose) who makes her debut later this year.

Below: Left to right:Logan/Logan and Inca

Above: Logan, Lettie, (Setter), Ellie, Moss, (Lab) Kouga, (Clumber), Lily, Anya, Inca and Kenco

We had a great time at Richmond where Logan notches up his 5th BPIB under gundog all rounder Mr Gordon Wiliams (Bournehouse English Setters). It was a bit of a 'family affair' as his Dad was BOB and group 3, his half sister won the Res CC and his sister was Best Puppy Bitch.

CITY OF BIRMINGHAM - Both dogs have a lovely day under breed specialist Lynda Adams, Logan wins best puppy dog and Lily obviously suits blue as she gets another 2nd!

AUGUST

SCOTTISH KENNEL CLUB - Yet another cold and blustery day for SKC but Logan notches up another BPIB his 4th, under breed specialist Fiona Thurm (Bryburn), making him current top puppy in breed. Lily was awarded 2nd (again!) in Limit to the CC winner.

WELSH KENNEL CLUB CH SHOW - Catherine had a most enjoyable day amongst our lovely breed where she was giving CC's for the first time.

BOURNEMOUTH CH SHOW - Logan gets a 'hat trick' as he picks up his 3rd consecutive BPIB under Richard Houghton. There was a bit of sibling rivalry as his sister Barleyarch Florin was best puppy bitch. Unfortunately, Lily wasn't in the cards today but there's always next time although seeing as Catherine is judging at the next Champ show at Welsh Kennel Club it won't be then!

NATIONAL GUNDOG CH SHOW - We had a great day with Logan today as he went BPIB under breed specialist Mrs S Ashcroft and was then shortlisted in the group under Sharon Pinkerton (Bareve GWP's). Logan also found time to reacquaint himself with his sister, Barleyarch Florin!

We've been taking advantage of a few warm sunny days to do some water retrieves and as you can see Logan appears to be a bit of a water baby!

PAIGNTON CH SHOW - A lengthy trek down to Paignton show, held near Exeter but it was a worthwhile one as Logan went BPIB under Mr Keith Groom (Grunhagen) and his Dad got the CC.

JULY

We travelled over the Penines again to York CS open show where it was a lovely summers day, just as well as the judging is outside!  Logan was BPIB under Mr D Martin (Sunhouse) and then group 3. Following this, we went to friends who have the 'Clovabrae' Bearded Collies and Logan and Erin the fluffball had some fun! Lily was otherwise occupied grouse counting near Glossop in Derbyshire.

LEEDS CH SHOW - An ideal day for dog showing, cloudy with the sun peeping out occasionally. It was also an 'ideal day' for Lily, as she won Limit bitch under Mrs Jane Eyeington (Meadowdale ESS and GSP's).

As Logan is effectively barred from all the championship shows in July due to the ludicrous docking ban, we decided to enter some open shows with him and what a great 2 days we had!  At Wombwell CS he was BOB, BPIB and won the group under Mr M Given (Sudeo Labs). He was then RBPIS under Mr E Webster (Benjcroft Golden Retrievers). The following day we travelled over the Penines again to East Riding Gundog Club where,  he was BPIB under Mrs S Tolladay (Bethersden Spinones) and RBPIS under Mrs G Simpson (Sireva).

Below: RBPIS at Wombwell CS

MAY/JUNE

Logan makes his debut at 6 months old at a cool and blustery Blackpool Championship show where he won Minor Puppy Dog, although he stood alone! However, he had a creditable 2nd in the Puppy Stakes from 42 dogs and a couple of pictures of him are below. The judge was Liz Cartiledge. Limit bitch was yet again a strong class and Lily was awarded 2nd to the Res CC winner.

Lily continues to be well placed and is 2nd in Limit at the GSP Club Championship show and 3rd at Scottish Kennel Club.

At Rossendale CS she had a great day where she was BOB and won the gundog group under Mrs Claire Sharp (Hapsberg/Afterglow) and then went on to RBIS under Dr A Bryden.  This followed a worthy 2nd to the CC winner at Birmingham National.

MARCH -   We had a lovely day at Goyt Valley gundog open shows where Lily was BOB and Group 3.

FEBRUARY - The patter of tiny feet has arrived!  Meet Logan (Barleyarch Farthing at Drysika)

JANUARY - We said an unexpected goodbye to our lovely 'Hattie', (Jennaline Hatsie Pollings at Drysika JW), mother to Drysika Fleur De Lis JW. Hattie sadly left us at the untimely age of 7, as she had an inoperable stomach tumour. She was a reliable working dog and successful show dog but most of all, a much loved and treasured member of our family who will be greatly missed. Happy Hunting Battie Boo!
