BITCH CC - GSPA CH SHOW

BITCH CC - 3 COUNTIES CH SHOW

RESERVE CC - SOUTH WALES CH SHOW

Meet Freya, who was bred by us and born on Christmas Day 2014. She has the sweetest of temperaments and has a passion for life that is second to none! She had a successful puppy career in the show ring and was Best puppy bitch in breed at numerous shows and Best puppy in breed at Paignton Ch show. Here she is below at 15 weeks and with her parents, Greta and Logan.

APRIL 2016GSPA Championship show - A day dreams were made of! Freya was entered in Junior at this prestigious show, where, amongst an abundance of quality bitches and a huge entry, she was awarded Best bitch and her 1st CC (Challenge Certificate). Logan scooped the Reserve Best Dog and Reserve Best in show so a truly memorable family day!
JULY 2016 Freya continued with her winning ways and won all the Junior classes she entered, though in autumn her career was temporarily put 'on the shelf' until 2017, as Catherine had consecutive surgery to her knees though a full recovery has now been made!
JUNE 2017 - 3 Counties Championship show - Freya is awarded her 2nd CC!! 1 more to go to make our dreams come true with our homebred girl.
We think she's rather lovely and hope you enjoy the following photos of her:

Freya now also does agility training with Catherine which she has taken to like a duck to water and is learning quickly, unfortunately Catherine isn't quite as quick on the uptake!
OCTOBER 2018 - Freya adds a Reserve CC to her tally at South Wales Ch Show. Nearly there for that 3rd CC but not quite! Shows have now finished for this year so hopefully 2019 will bring that magical 3rd one..
Unfortunately in 2019 the 3rd CC has proved to be elusive, so she'll have to be content with being a 'bridesmaid' and be a member of the 2 CC's club and has hung up her show lead. Not that she's bothered.  As long as she can do agility, she'll be happy!
SEPTEMBER 2021 - At nearly 7 years old, we decided to rekindle the agility competitions with Freya and found a fantastic Agility club in North Lincs where we have gone from strength to strength. We set ourselves a little goal, to enter some Kennel Club Agility competitions and aim to get from Grade 1 to Grade 2. (There are 7 grades in Agility). You have to win at least 1 Agility and 1 Jumping round to progress to Grade 2, but as it's under KC rules, the standard of competition is much higher as well as the number of competitors. We were absolutely thrilled when she won out of Grade 1 and that as a couple of 'veterans' at the game, we have achieved our little goal.
However, my competitive spirit has kicked in again and we were then aiming for Grade 3 and in May this year, weachieved that by winning 2 Agility classes at Lincoln Agility Club show, we are so proud of Freya.  Best of all
, we're enjoying it and have made some great friends,  how long we'll continue who knows, but for the time being, it's keeping my old grey matter ticking! Not to mention my lung capacity, I nearly need oxygen when I've completed a course!  I'm sure you'll agree that the action photos of her really depict her sheer athleticism and enjoyment of it!
